Grifols processes your personal data to manage and control your participation to the Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Laurell's Training Award ("ALTA Awards") and to respond your requests of information and/or suggestions you make through the means provided in the website.

The legal basis to process your personal data are:
(a) The performance of the terms and conditions of participation of the ALTA Awards.
(b) Your consent as expressed in the relevant data collection form for the purposes of answering your requests of information and/or suggestions.
(c) The legitimate interest of Grifols to share your personal data with the Medical Affairs team existing across our group companies.
Grifols considers that the legitimate interest in which the processing of your personal data is based overrides your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms, given that your personal data is shared with the Medical Affairs team of the Grifols' group for internal administrative purposes. 5. How long Grifols will retain your personal data?
Grifols will process your personal data until the end of each edition of the ALTA Awards and, if applicable, until your request of information and/or suggestion has been answered. Afterwards, Grifols may keep your personal data until the end of the statutes of limitation that may arise from processing your personal data. This period shall be, at least, of five (5) years.

In accordance with Section 4, Grifols will share your personal data with the Medical Affairs team existing in Grifols Deutschland, GmbH. for the purposes identified in Section 3.
Moreover, Grifols may share your personal data with any other third party in case required by applicable law.
